The Committee includes one representative named by 1) the Wallace Genetic Foundation, 2) Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc., 3) the Advisory Board of the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture, 4) the Practical Farmers of Iowa, and five additional members representing academic, agricultural, societal, and environmental interest. The Committee assesses the direction and future needs of the Chair and provides timely, recurring advice, guidance, direction, and support to the Chair and the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. |
